Gradient Nails- Design Inspired by WahNails

Good afternoon!!

Today's post is on gradient nails and a design inspired by Wah Nails in which they call Downtown.

To achieve this look I used Revlon Apricot Pastry as the base and then added Strawberry Cream (also by Revlon). I ended the gradient with Lavendairy by Lime Crime. I topped of the gradient with some Fairy Dust by China Glaze. Can't go wrong with that! I left it as that over night and felt that something was missing. So I went through Instagram on Wah Nails and found their "downtown" look and decided to re-creat the design. I feel much more content and complete. :)

Starry Night Nails

Good evening!

Hope everyone had a great day!
Tonight's post is on a mani I did just yesterday night. I call it starry night.

A really awesome friend of mine sent me Essence Breaking Dawn Pt.2 nail polish and I could not wait to use them! To achieve this mani I used Essence Edward's Love and Hits Zeus as my base color. On my pointer and middle finger I did a glitter gradient using China Glaze Polarized. I stamped the thumb, ringer finger and pinky with Cheeky image plate CH51 and used Rimmel London Pure Silver to stamp.

Thanksgiving Mani

Good morning!
I hope you guys enjoyed your Thanksgiving with loved ones and are hopefully recovering from food comas by now. I know it's kinda late but I wanted to show you what I did to my nails for Thanksgiving.

I did a bit of stamping, gradient and added some glitter.

As my base color I used China Glaze Prey Tell from the On Safari collection. For my thumb, middle finger and pinky finger I added Reverie in Rubellilte by HARE Polish. For my pointer finger I stamped with Color Club Gingerbread Man (scented!!) and used image plate by Bundle Monster 19. On my ring finger I used China Glaze Harvest Moon from the Hunger Games collection and again Gingerbread Man.

I hope you guys liked my brief attempt at nail art. :)

HITS Holo Hotness

Hi guys! Today marks my very first official post as a nail polish addict/hoarder! Yay!

Today I bring to you this amazing holographic nail polish by Hits, Dionisio.
I seriously cannot stop staring at my nails! It's a deep purple and full coverage in two coats. The holographic effect is absolutely beautiful and stunning. To be quiet honest, I'm not even sure how to describe a holographic nail polish. I'll get better! I promise. Ok, enough blabbing. Here are some pictures. Second to last picture is with flash. A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That...

Hey guys!
So I've thought long and hard about keeping this blog updated or whether or not I should just close it down.
Because I am surrounded by incredible people who support my nail polish addiction, I've decided to keep this blog. Aside from posting pictures on Instagram (shadesofglitter) I will post my nail art and reviews here.

I'd really like to hear your input. You, after all, are the ones that will make this blog matter, live and possibly succeed. What would you like to see? Which nail polish should I review? Do you JUST want nail related posts or other beauty products?

I look forward in seeing what you guys come up with.
